Paclisa is a village near the city of Hunedoara and is home to a special school that houses people with a diverse range of mental and physical disabilities. Unfortunately, in Romania, there is a culture of misunderstanding when it comes to disability and there isn’t currently a lot of support for such individuals. Vision Romania, takes shoeboxes to the residents every Christmas and we also provide dental care when possible (usually at least once a year).
